Trent Simmons
Trent’s master’s thesis focuses on how drivers respond to cyberattacks targeting connected vehicle systems, particularly blind-spot warning systems. Using a driving simulator, his research examines driver trust, behavior, and decision-making under false warnings to help improve the safety and resilience of connected and automated vehicle technologies.
